Kevin Moreton – Chief Executive Officer

Having originally trained in Accounting and Finance in Aberdeen, our CEO, Kevin Moreton, is an experienced business leader with over 20 years’ experience working in business technology primarily in the Energy Sector. In 2016, Kevin, joined Sword and was Chief Operating Officer until March 2024 at which point, Kevin took the role of CEO. Kevin has been a key part of the leadership team that has seen the business grow to ~€100M turnover delivering Business Technology Solutions into the Energy, Public and Financial sectors.

Prior to his appointment at Sword, Kevin held senior positions with Accenture & Bentley Systems where he was responsible for the delivery of major projects and programmes for many enterprise customers across the globe. An energetic and approachable leader with a particular focus on growth and delivering results for his stakeholders.

Greg Anderson – Chief Operating Officer (Public Sector)

As the COO for Public Sector, Greg is responsible for developing and evolving our strategy to support our Public Sector customers as they continue their Digital Transformation journey. He is passionate about working in partnership with our customers to deliver transformational business outcomes that genuinely make a difference to citizens and the public sector workforce.

Greg is also accountable for the management of our business units that are predominantly working with our Public Sector customers. Having originally joined Sword in 2010 as a Senior Technologist, Greg has held several technical and management roles over the years, including Business Unit Director and CTO. Working directly with our customers to implement digital transformation solutions and supporting our teams to build our own Digital workforce has provided Greg with a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities associated with Digital Transformation.

Phil Brading – Chief Operating Officer (Energy Sector)

As COO for Sword’s Energy Sector, Phil is responsible for the services we deliver to our customers in Oil and Gas, Renewables and Utilities. These services and solutions are based on our core capability in data and information management, and Phil wants to ensure we remain a relevant partner to the industry. That means investing in new digital skills and broadening our ability to support the needs and transformation of our customers.

Phil has over 25 years’ experience of working in the Energy industry, helping to manage services and support technology. He started my career at a data management specialist company in Cambridge before becoming part of the Landmark/Halliburton group. After 10 years of service and project management, technical consulting, and business development, Phil made the move to Venture Information Management where he held both operational and sales roles. After Venture was acquired by Sword in 2017, Phil became Business Unit Director and oversaw the integration with another acquisition DataCo. He has subsequently held a number of roles within Sword and is extremely proud to represent the amazing people we have in our business. Our ability to bring together technical and domain understanding to solve our customers’ challenges is something that makes Sword a special place to work.

Terry Neil – Chief Operating Officer (Digital Platform)

As the Chief Operating Officer for Digital Platform Terry a results-driven and has a deep understanding of both the technical and operational aspects of the digital landscape.  With over 20 years of experience in the IT industry, he brings a unique blend of technical acumen and strategic leadership to Sword UK.

Terry is responsible for overseeing the operations of the Hybrid Infrastructure, IT Managed Services and Cyber Security business units and shaping the strategic direction of the company’s digital platform business.  He is passionate about leveraging technology to drive innovation, improve efficiency, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Terry’s career journey began with a strong technical foundation, which he then pivoted into progressively senior operational and management roles.  A founding member of the successful Ping Network Solutions acquired by Sword in 2022, he has consistently demonstrated the ability to build and lead high-performing teams.

Terry is committed to staying at the forefront of technological advancements and is excited to guide Swords UK digital platform business towards continued growth and success.

Catherine Froud-Williams – Chief People Officer​​​​​​​

As our Chief People Officer, Catherine is passionate about representing our people at an Executive Level to ensure they are always at the centre of our business decisions.  Catherine leads and executes our People Strategy to ensure we have the right skills and talent to drive our growth ambitions.  I work closely with the industry to ensure we can anticipate and respond to trends to inform and set a clear direction for current and future people initiatives.

Catherine’s ambition and drive is to enable all our people to reach their full potential and recognise the true value they bring, through the provision of learning and development opportunities, deeper connection with our purpose and interesting work.  By empowering our people and creating opportunity to learn and develop from others, we ensure as a business we have the competencies and leadership qualities to deliver outstanding work for our customers, now and in the future.

Olga Slamenkaite – Chief Financial Officer

As CFO, Olga’s role is to set the financial governance for the group, to measure and track the performance of the business on a monthly basis, to identify trends both positive and negative and propose actions based upon the underlying performance of the group.

As well as measuring the performance of the companies within the group Olga is constantly on the lookout for other companies with complementary service offerings and capabilities which we could acquire in order to create a stronger group offering.
